Ingredients
Serves 7
All Purpose Flour maida 1 cup
Refined Oil 1 cup
Milk 1/2 cup
Baking Soda 1/2 teaspoon
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
Everyday milk powder 1/2 cup
Sugar powdered 1/2 cup
Cadbury Silk chocolate 3 to 4 pieces
Sugar water syrup just to wet the cake 4-5 tablespoon
Whipped Cream one Big Bowl Approximately 2 cups
Few drops of Rose essence Or 1/4 teaspoon
Dry Dessicated Coconut powder to sprinkle on top approximately 2-3 teaspoon
Few chopped Almonds to decorate Approximately 4-5pc
Directions
Beat oil and sugar
Add milk powder to it and again beat well
Sieve maida ,baking powder and baking soda all together
Put this Maida mixture in it
Add milk, silk chocolate pieces along with few drops of Rose essence this time to make a free flowing consistency
Preheat the oven at 180 degree for 10 minutes
When it beeps open the door of microwave and place the aluminium cake tin inside
Pour the mixture in greeced aluminium cake tin, dust with some maida and keep in preheated oven at 180 degree for 35 to 40 minutes
Temperature may differ because of its litre capacity model of microwave, everyone have a different model ,so be careful
When the cake is fully cooled, divide the cake using knife in three layers
Put sugar water syrup in each layer and then put whipped cream, repeat the process
While decorating the top layer of cake you made put any colour in whipped cream like pink ,green, blue ,purple ,brown, yellow any colour as you wish, as you desired of your own choice
Decorate with chopped almonds & dry dessicated coconut powder
Silk cake is ready to serve, Serve at room temperature
