Ingredients

Serves 3

  • 3 cups Basmati Rice

  • 2 finely chopped onion

  • 4 large tomatoes finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup oil

  • 1 tspn of green cardamon , cloves, cinnamon powder

  • 1/2 cup curd

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk

  • 2 tbspn green coriander leaves

  • 1 tspn mint leaves

  • 1 tspn salt or as per taste

  • 1 tspn red chilli powder

  • 4 green chillies whole

  • 4 boiled eggs

  • 1 tspn ginger paste

  • 1 tspn garlic paste

Directions

    Wash and soak rice for half an hour .

    Take oil to it add finely chopped onion

  • 03

    When onions turn pink add tomatoes and cook till tomatoes are done.

    Now add red chilli powder , ginger garlic paste and salt

  • 05

    Cook till oil separates. Now add curd

    Few minutes later add coconut milk and whole green chillies

  • 07

    Now add mint leaves and coriander leaves and green cardamon , cloves, and cinnamon powder

    let it cook for sometime

    Add water and then add rice.

  • 10

    Cook it on high flame for 10 mins and put boiled eggs on top.

    Add saffron colour on top and lower the gas for 15 mins.

    Serve hot with Raita
