  • lemon 1/2 nos

  • ghee 1 tbsp

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • curry cut chicken 500 gms

  • Curd 1 cups

  • Chilli powder 1 tsp

  • cumin powder 1 tsp

  • Turmeric 1 tsp

  • Rasam powder 2 tsp

  • Dried curry leaves 1 tsp

  • large onions 2 nos

  • green chillies 5 nos

  • Tamarind 1 nos

  • Coconut minced powder or coconut milk 1 cups

Directions

    Marination of chicken: 500 gm of chicken in a bowl. Add half lemon, add salt, turmeric, chilli powder, rasam powder, 3 spoons curd, dried curry leaves and ghee

    In another pan, heat the oil with 2 large sliced onions. Until brown and add 5 u Chopped green chillies and 2 spoons of rasam powder. Add salt as per taste. Keep mixing well once the ingredients are cooked and oil appears at top layer. Once done add tamarind water to the pan and mix it well. Then add the marinated chicken.

    Mix it well and cook in medium flame for another 15 minutes. Later add coconut milk cream or coconut powder and cook for 10 minutes.

    Simple homemade coconut chicken curry is ready which is the best main course dish that you can enjoy during lunch or dinner.
