Heat a pan with little oil. Add mustard seeds. When it crackle add asafoetida, green chilli, curry leaves, chopped garlic.
Add turmeric and coriander powder. Add boiled diced potatoes and salt. Mix well.
Add Gujarati Dal shaak masala and chopped tomatoes and coriander, stir well. Cook for 6-7 minutes.
Lasaniya Bataka is ready to serve. Garnish with chopped Coriander
