Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 50 gms mutton


  • 2 nos chopped onions


  • 2 nos chopped tomatoes


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp chilly powder


  • 1/2 tsp curd


  • 1 tsp ginger julians


  • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 2 tbsp ghee/refined oil


  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves


  • 1 tbsp mint leaves


  • 5 nos kadai masala,dry red chilies


  • 12 nos pepper corns


  • 1 tsp coriander seeds


  • 1 tsp jeera seeds


  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds


  • 1 tsp kasuri methi

Directions

  • Dry roast the ingredients mentioned under kadai masala and grind them into a powder.
  • Heat a kadai with some ghee/refined oil. Brown the mutton on all the sides and then add the onions and tomatoes.
  • Add some turmeric powder n salt, cook with lid on a low flame for at least 45-50 minutes till the onions and tomatoes melt and the mutton is soft.
  • Now add chilly powder, ginger garlic paste , curd and stir. Add the kadai masala, corriander leaves, mint leaves and cook. Add water of required.
  • Check for the salt and serve once done
