Ingredients

Serves 2

  • Rice 1 cups

  • Peas 1/2 cups

  • onion 1 nos

  • Mint Leaves,fistful 1 nos

  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp

  • Cloves 2 nos

  • Cinnamon 1/2 inch

  • Oil 2 tbsp

  • Salt ,to taste 1/4 tsp

  • Coriander Leaves,for garnishing-fistful 1/2 nos

  • Green Chilies 3 nos

  • Water 2 1/2 cups

  • Ghee 1 tsp

Directions

    Soak rice for 10 minutes.Heat oil in a pressure cooker on a medium flame. Add cloves and cinnamon and let it splutter. Add onion and saute well for a minute.

    Add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell disappear. Add green chillies to it. Add peas to it and saute well. Add soaked rice and two and half cup water to it.Add salt to taste and pressure cook for 10 minutes.

    When it's done add one teaspoon of oil ghee and give a mix.

    Simple easy Peas Pulao is ready to ready to serve with ketchup or raita.
