Ingredients

Serves 3

  • Tomatoes chopped(medium sized) 3 nos

  • Big onion(finely chopped) 1 nos

  • Shallots((small onions) peeled and sliced) 100 gms

  • Red chillies round(preferably gundu milagai) 10-15 nos

  • Tamarind paste 1 tsp

  • Curry leaves 3-4 sprig

  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp

  • Urad dal 1 tbsp

  • Oil 2-3 tbsp

  • Salt some To Taste 1 tsp

Directions

    Grind tomato, onions,shallots, tamarind, red chilies and salt to a fine paste.

    Add oil in a kadai, when its hot splutter mustard seeds, urad dal ,curry leaves and finally the tomato mixture and stir well.

  • 03

    Saute it till the paste is cooked and the mixture thickens.

  • 04

    Serve hot with idlis,dosais etc
