Mixed Berry Smoothie

Description

A delicious and refreshing smoothie recipe. After a short holiday in India, we came back to the sizzling hot Kiwi Summer. So of late, our family has switched on to smoothies of all types, either as a snack or packed as a refreshing drink for our strolls. The mixed berry smoothie is the favourite so far. I am sharing the recipe here. Now that it is summer here, all types of berries are available here. Last weekend we went strawberry picking, came back with loads of berries. If you don't have fresh berries available, use frozen mixed berries.

Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cups milk /yoghurt(low fat)


  • 1 1/2 cups mixed berries


  • 1 nos banana, peeled and diced


  • 1-2 drop honey as a sweetener - optional.

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients together in ablender and puree until smooth.
  • Serve with ce cubes if you prefer to.
