Kovakka/ Ivy Gourd / Tindora 250 gms
onion 1 nos
Green Chilies 4 nos
Coconut Oil 1 tbsp
Coconut Pieces 1/4 cups
Curry leaves 2 sprig
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Cut the ivy gourd into thin strips. Slit the green chilies and slice onion.
Heat coconut oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, when it crackles, add curry leaves.
Now add the cut strips of ivy guord, green chilies, sliced onions and coconut pieces. Fry on high flame for 5 mins and then cover and cook on low flame for 2 -3 minutes
Cover and let it cook on low flame for few minutes (stir in between).. Until everthing turns slight crispy...
