Ingredients

Serves : 15 serving
  • 200 gms paneer cubes –


  • 3 onion diced –


  • 2 capsicum diced –


  • 2 tomato diced (pulp removed) –


  • 6 Tbsps yogurt – (preferrably hung curd)


  • 3 Tbsps kasurimethi –


  • 2 Tsps tandoori masala –


  • 1 Tsp chaat masala –


  • 2 Tbsps red chilly powder –


  • ½ Tsp garam masala – (optional)


  • 2 Tsps ginger garlic paste –


  • ½ lime juice – lime


  • for the wraps / roti


  • 2 ½ cups maida/ all purpose flour –


  • 1 Tsp baking powder –


  • salt – as needed


  • water – to make the dough


  • 1 onion thinly sliced with lemon juice and chaat masala–


  • green coriander – mint chutney – as needed


  • others


  • coriander leaves – i did not use) optional(


  • 1 Tbsp oil –

Directions

  • For the filling
  • Marinate the ingredients for filling with items under “For Marination”, and keep it aside for atleast half hour.(overnight juicy and tasty.)
  • Heat oil in a kadai or pan and add the marinated paneer mixture to it.
  • Cook until paneer is cooked and water is almost absorbed. (Dont make it too dry).
  • Add coriander leaves. Keep aside .
  • For the wrap / roll
  • Mix all the ingredients for the wrap and knead it to a smooth and soft dough. Knead it for about 8 – 10 minutes . Cover and keep it for half hour.
  • Make roti’s and keep it inside a casserole to keep it hot and soft.
  • Making the Kathi Wrap
  • Take a roti and spread green chutney all over. Place 2 Tbsp of the paneer filling in the middle and on top spread the onion mix .
  • Fold the roti and make a roll. (If you want heat placing it on a tawa )
