Ingredients

Serves : 6 serving
  • 1 Cup all purpose flour


  • 1 Teaspoon baking powder


  • 1 Teaspoon baking soda


  • 1 Cup milk


  • 3/4 Cup sugar


  • 3 eggs


  • 1 Teaspoon almond extarct


  • 3/4 Cup almonds, crushed


  • 100 Grams butter

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) and place rack in center of oven. sift the flour with the baking powder and baking soda,Set aside.
  • In the bowl , beat the butter until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and continue to beat until the mixture is light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the Almond extract
  • With the mixer on low speed, alternately add the flour mixture and the milk to the batter, in three additions, beginning and ending with the flour.
  • Put the batter in the baking tray.sprinkle crushed almonds on top of the batter till the batter is completely covered.
  • Bake for about 35 - 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center just comes out clean.The alomonds in the top will be crunchy and soft inside.
