Description

This delicious treat is a favorite sweet breakfast in our house, but is also great for dessert. Because it's so easy it has become a staple "special" breakfast, and a tradition on Christmas morning.

Ingredients

Serves : 8 serving
  • 4 pillsbury biscuits


  • 3/4 Cup butter


  • 1 1/2 Cups sugar


  • 2 Tablespoons cinnamon

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • In a large baggie put 1/2 cup sugar and all the cinnamon. Shake until mixed.
  • Rip biscuits in half and put a couple pieces at a time in the bag. Shake to coat the pieces thoroughly. Place coated biscuit pieces in an ungreased bundt pan, or if only using half recipe I typically use a loaf pan.
  • After all pieces have been coated and placed in the pan, pour the remaining cinnamon/sugar mixture over biscuits in the pan.
  • Melt butter over low heat. Add remaining sugar to butter and stir (it will not all dissolve). Pour over biscuits.
  • Bake in center of over for 35-40 minutes (less if only using half recipe).
  • Flip upside down on to a plate and serve warm. Pull apart pieces and enjoy!
