  • 3 cups finely chopped munga bhaji ▪️ 1/4 cup chana dal (soak it in water for 30 -35 minutes before making it) ▪️ 1 tbsp oil ▪️ 1 big size onion finely chopped ▪️ 10 -12 garlic cloves finely chopped ▪️ 1 inch piece of ginger grated ▪️ 1 tsp coriander powder ▪️ Salt as per taste ▪️ 1 tsp cumin ▪️ 1 tsp whole coriander ▪️ 1 tsp turmeric powder ▪️ 5 -6 whole red chilies ▪️ 3 -4 medium sized tomatoes finely chopped (the quantity of tomatoes is more in this vegetable)

Directions

  • This vegetable is made from the soft leaves of munga i.e. drumstick, it is a very special vegetable here, which contains protein, many types of vitamins and minerals, very few spices are used.
  • 🔸 Boil the chopped munga bhaji in a pot or cooker with a little water and boil it for 3-4 minutes. 🔸 Now heat oil in a deep thick bottom pan or wok, splutter cumin, now add whole red chili, coriander, garlic and ginger and fry pink 🔸 Now add chopped onion and fry till it turns light pink, now add bhaji and chana dal and mix it well and add salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder as per taste, mix well and cover and cook till the chana dal becomes soft 🔸 Now add tomato Cook till the water is absorbed, keep the flame medium, when the tomatoes become soft and mix well in the vegetable, then increase the flame and stir it with a spoon and fry it for 1 minute ... Just ready to serve delicious munga bhaji
