🔸 Dry roast the pulses on a low flame in a thick bottom pan, when they turn slightly pink, keep them soaked for about 3 - 4 hours and then grind them.
🔸 Now heat ghee in a pan (save 1 tsp ghee) add ground dal pithi (paste) to it and roast till it becomes golden brown and crumbly.
Put 1/4 water in it and put it on the flame and cook it till it thickens a little and add it to the roasted lentils and cook it for a little more while frying the mixture, it will leave the bottom of the pan leaving the ghee. Just ready delicious ukkarai now chopped nuts, raisins
