3Good quality vanilla beans
1 cupUnflavoured vodka
Run a knife along the centre of the vanilla beans, lengthwise, to create a slit. Be sure to leave out an inch on both ends while running the knife down the centre. Place the vanilla beans in a clean, sterilized glass jar.
2\. Pour the vodka over the vanilla beans, making sure they’re drowned in the liquid. Seal the glass jar tightly and give it a good shake. Store in a cool, dark place for 2 months. Give it a shake a couple of times a week.
3\. At the end of 2 months, you could strain the liquid if you don’t want any bits floating in it. It’s now ready to use!
