Serves 4

  • 1 cup of flour

  • 2 tablespoons sugar(add a tablespoon more if you want it a little sweeter:)

  • 3/4 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1 tablespoon of MELTED butter

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Sift the dry ingredients together into a large bowl

    In another bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients

    Gently fold the dry and wet ingredients together using a rubber spatula making sure not to over mix (add the wet ingredients to the bowl containing the dry ingredients)

    on a non-stick pan, ladle a ladle-ful of the batter and flip once bubbles form on the top and the bottom has browned.

    Finally, plate them up:add some butter and maple syrup for a classic pancake or you can get creative and jazz it up with some honey, some nutella, or even some berries and bananas for a healthy twist ;)
