Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 2 beef cheeks

  • 3 onions

  • 4 carrots

  • 4 celery sticks

  • 6 garlic cloves

  • 3/4 bottle of red wine

  • 600ml of stock

  • 3 cans of chopped tomatoes

  • 1/4 tube of tomatoe puree

  • 4 bay leaves

Directions

  • 01

    Sear the cheeks in a pan.

  • 02

    Take them out and soften the onions, carrots, celery and garlic.

  • 03

    Add the cheeks on top of this.

  • 04

    Pour wine in.

  • 05

    Add stock, tomatoes and leaves.

  • 06

    Leave lid ajar and cook for 4 hrs .
