Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 250gms Paneer


  • 15 Cashews


  • 1 Large Onion


  • 2Medium Tomatoes' Puree


  • 1tbsp Cumin


  • 3 Green Chillies


  • 1 bay leaf


  • 3cloves


  • 3cardamom


  • 1tbsp Red Chilli Powder


  • 1tbsp Coriander Powder


  • 1tbsp Cumin Powder


  • 1tbsp Garam Masala


  • 1tbsp Salt


  • 1/2tbsp Turmeric Powder


  • 2tbsp Cashew Paste


  • 2tbsp Kasuri Methi


  • 2tbsp Fresh Cream

Directions

  • Fry the Paneer and Cashew until Golden Brown on low flame
  • Pour 2tbsp oil in a pan and add 1 Cumin,Bay leaf, Cardamom and Cloves on medium flame for 30seconds. Add very finely chopped onion and saute until reddish brown. Add green chillies and fry until onion turns golden brown.
  • Add 1tbsp each of Red chilli powder, Coriander Powder, Cumin Powder, Salt, Garam Masala, Ginger Garlic Paste and 1/2tbsp Turmeric Powder and fry the masala on low flame.
  • Add the tomato puree, mix and let it simmer for 10mins until all the water has evaporated and oil starts to appear. At this stage add 1 glass water and let it simmer for another 10minutes while covering the lid.
  • Add Cashew Paste and let it cook throughouly for 2mins
  • Add Paneer and Cashew and let it cook for 5minutes
  • Add Kasuri Methi and Cream. Serve fresh and hot with Naan
