Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup fresh methi


  • 1 cup boiled green peas


  • 2 medium sized onions


  • 7-8 cashew / almonds


  • 2 tsp poppy seeds


  • 2 green chillies


  • 3 tsp malai


  • 1 cup milk


  • 1 tsp jeera


  • 2 bay leaf


  • 1 tsp sugar


  • 1 tsp garam masala

Directions

  • In kadai, add 1 tsp oil and fry roughly chopped onions till translucent. Don't turn them brown. Add chilli, poppy seeds and cashew / almonds and cook them. Once cooled, grind to smooth paste.
  • In same kadai add 1 tsp oil and 1 tsp butter. Add jeera, bay leaf, grinded paste and 1 cup milk and let it cook till oil is released
  • Once the mixture is cooked, add garam masala, chopped methi green peas and sugar. Let methi cook for a while
  • Add salt, sugar and malai to the gravy and cook for 3 mins
  • Serve with hot rotis, naan
