  • Red Rice Flour - 2 cups


  • Grated Coconut - 1 cup


  • Salt to taste


  • Warm Water - 1 cup


Directions

  • Mix salt with warm water. Take flour in a bowl. Add warm water little by little and mix well. The mixture should be wet and coarse. Take puttu maker. Put one hand of rice flour mix and top with coconut and then again rice flour and again coconut. Heat water in pressure cooker and place the puttu maker on steam release portion. Cook until the steam comes out of the puttu lid, it takes approx 5 mins. Unmould and serve.
