Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 5 boiled potatoes


  • 2 onions chopped


  • 5-6 curry leaves


  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1/4 tsp hing


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 3 tbsp oil


  • 1 tbsp jeera


  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds


  • 1 tbsp urad dal


  • 1 tbsp chana dal


  • 4-5 whole red chillies


  • 1/2 tbsp black peppercorns


  • 1tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder

Directions

  • Firstly in a pan dry roast whole red chillies, black peppercorns, coriander seeds, jeera ,urad dal, chana dal for 5-7 mins.
  • Let it cool and grind it and make a coarse powder
  • Add Kashmiri chilli powder to masala and mix well
  • Chop the potatoes and onions and keep aside.
  • Take a pan and add oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, chopped onions and cook till colour changes.
  • Add chopped potatoes, salt and 3tbsp of grounded masala and mix well and cook on medium flame for 5 mins
  • Serve hot with Roti or Naan.
