Soak apricots in 2 cup of water overnight.
They will swell up next day.
Transfer the Apricots with water to a pan.
Cook in medium heat until apricots become soft.
With a spatula or laddle smash the apricots to tear them in small pieces.Keep some pieces un smashed, which you will use to garnish.
When apricots are soft and the mixture become a thick jelly like consistency, add regular sugar.You can add few spoons of water if your mixture dries up.
Mix and when sugar dissolves completely remove from heat.
Take some dry fruits like almond, cashew and wulnut.Slice them finely and add some to the apricot mixture and mix well. Also add kewra essence if you like.
When the mixture cools down a bit, keep in the refrigerator to cool completely.
In the meantime take 1 cup of cream and add 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar.
With a hand or electric blender whip the cream for 5-6 minutes to make it little light and fluffy.
Keep the cream in the refrigerator to cool.
At the time of serving, take out both apricots and cream from the refrigerator.
Place some apricot mixture to the bottom of serving bowl to make a thick layer.
Next add whipped cream and make second thick layer.
Now at the top garnish with some big pieces of apricot and sliced nuts.
Serve cold as dessert.
