Ingredients

Serves : 16
  • 2 Cup Poha/ Flatten Rice


  • 2 Potatoes medium Boiled Peeled and mashed


  • 2 tbsp Bread Crumbs


  • 2 tbsp Rice Flour


  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder or to taste


  • Salt to taste


  • Fresh Cilantro chopped 1 tablespoon


  • 3 Green Chilies finely chopped


  • 1 tsp Kasturi Methi


  • 2 tsp Lime Juice


  • 2 Cups Oil to deep fry

Directions

  • Wash and Soak poha in water for 5 mins and then strain it and drain the excess water.
  • In a mixing bowl take drained and squeezed poha, mashed potatoes, bread crumbs and all the spices.
  • Mix them all to make a firm dough. If Necessary add little water.
  • Take a small ball of mixture and press it gently to make a round disk. Now with the help of any cookie cutter give it a shape . ( I have used Heart shape).
  • Do same with the rest of dough and make poha hearts.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry all the POHA HEARTS till golden brown and crisp.
  • If you want you can pan fry it also . Serve hot with ketchup or any dipping sauce.
