2 Cup Poha/ Flatten Rice
2 Potatoes medium Boiled Peeled and mashed
2 tbsp Bread Crumbs
2 tbsp Rice Flour
1/2 tsp Red chilli powder or to taste
Salt to taste
Fresh Cilantro chopped 1 tablespoon
3 Green Chilies finely chopped
1 tsp Kasturi Methi
2 tsp Lime Juice
2 Cups Oil to deep fry
Wash and Soak poha in water for 5 mins and then strain it and drain the excess water.
In a mixing bowl take drained and squeezed poha, mashed potatoes, bread crumbs and all the spices.
Mix them all to make a firm dough. If Necessary add little water.
Take a small ball of mixture and press it gently to make a round disk. Now with the help of any cookie cutter give it a shape . ( I have used Heart shape).
Do same with the rest of dough and make poha hearts.
Heat oil in a kadhai and deep fry all the POHA HEARTS till golden brown and crisp.
If you want you can pan fry it also . Serve hot with ketchup or any dipping sauce.
