Ingredients

  • 6 dry Bombil ( Bombay duck)


  • 4 garlic cloves


  • 1 inch ginger


  • 2 green chillies


  • 3 curry leaves


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp Salt


  • 1 tsp jeera

Directions

  • Clean the dry fish, remove front and rare part and even fins. In sauce pan add water and bombil.et it cook for 5 mins
  • In mortar, add garlic, ginger, chillies, curry leaves, jeera and ground them finely with help of pestle.
  • Once fish is cooked (easily smashed between fingers). Remove the water and smash them using pestle
  • In kadai, add oil, once hot add pestle masala and let it cook for a minute then add fish, turmeric powder and pinch of salt.
  • Let the fish cook for 2 mins and serve with rotis
