  • 4 blanched tomatoes and skin removed

  • 10 cloves of garlic

  • 2 whole Kashmiri chilli

  • 3 whole spicy red chilli

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp salt


  • Keep water for boiling.
  • Slit the tomatoes from bottom and add to boiling water and also add whole red chillies .
  • Remove and peel the skin of tomatoes.
  • Take a grinder and add tomatoes, whole chillies, garlic, sugar and salt and grind it to a smooth paste.
  • No need to add water.
  • This chutney can be eaten with chillas, dosa, sandwich, bhel, bhaji etc.
