Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cups oats


  • 3 cups milk


  • 1/2 cups sugar


  • 1 tbsp ghee


  • 1 tsp cardamom powder


  • 5 nos almonds


  • 5 nos cashews


  • 1 tbsp golden raisins

Directions

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan.
  • Add ½ cup oats and saute for 2 to 3 mins on low flame.
  • Then add 3 cups of milk and ½ cup of sugar. Mix well.
  • Simmer the kheer for 2 to 3 minutes on a low flame, till the oats soften.
  • Add chopped dry fruits, raisins and 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder.
  • Simmer for 2 minutes more and switch off the flame.
  • Serve warm or chilled as interested.
