Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan.
Add ½ cup oats and saute for 2 to 3 mins on low flame.
Then add 3 cups of milk and ½ cup of sugar. Mix well.
Simmer the kheer for 2 to 3 minutes on a low flame, till the oats soften.
Add chopped dry fruits, raisins and 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder.
Simmer for 2 minutes more and switch off the flame.
Serve warm or chilled as interested.
