Ingredients

  • 2 nos kappa / maracheeni


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 2 cups oil

Directions

  • Peel the tapioca (Kappa / Maracheeni) and cut them into small pieces and boil it in the water, adding some salt.
  • When the tapioca are half boiled, put off the stove and take out the tapioca and remove the water from it using some filter.
  • After about 10 - 15 minutes cut the tapioca into small, thin pieces as shown in the below picture.

  • Heat oil in a frying pan.Pu t the tapioca slices into the hot oil and stir it well.
  • Stir the tapioca pieces often and allow to fry both sides of the tapioca pieces.
  • When the pieces are fried well, take it out by using a sieve (arippa) and keep them in an air proof container.
  • Tapioca chips is ready and preferably it can be served with evening tea / coffee.
