Ingredients

Serves 4

  • Kappa / Maracheeni 2 nos

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • oil 2 cups

Directions

    Peel the tapioca (Kappa / Maracheeni) and cut them into small pieces and boil it in the water, adding some salt.

    When the tapioca are half boiled, put off the stove and take out the tapioca and remove the water from it using some filter.

    After about 10 - 15 minutes cut the tapioca into small, thin pieces as shown in the below picture.

    Heat oil in a frying pan.Pu t the tapioca slices into the hot oil and stir it well.

    Stir the tapioca pieces often and allow to fry both sides of the tapioca pieces.

    When the pieces are fried well, take it out by using a sieve (arippa) and keep them in an air proof container.

  • 08

    Tapioca chips is ready and preferably it can be served with evening tea / coffee.
