semolina (rava / sooji) 1 cups
oil 2 tsp
mustard seeds 1 tsp
mustard seeds 2 nos
mustard seeds 1/4 cups
carrots 1/4 cups
Directions
Boil about 2cups of water in a sauce pan
Heat oil/ghee in a pan, add mustard seeds when it sizzles add few dried curry leaves.
Add onion, chilli and carrots, Fry them.
Now add in Semolina(Rava) and roast it.
Now pour in the boiling water and keep mixing. Add salt to it.
Cover and cook on low heat. Once the water is absorbed, mix well and cook covered on low heat for few minutes, stirring in between. Turn off the heat and serve hot.
