Ingredients

  • 3 cup urad dal


  • 500gm Dahi


  • 1 tsp chilli powder


  • 2 tsp Salt


  • 1 tsp dry coconut grated


  • 1 cup coriander leaves


  • 2 tsp jeera


  • 2 tsp tamarind chutney


  • 2 tsp pudina chutney

Directions

  • Soak urad daal overnight.
  • Grind this soaked urad daal, add water as required to make thick paste.
  • Add coconut, jeera, coriander leaves and salt to the batter.
  • Heat oil for frying, and fry the urad daal batter with small balls until golden brown. Once done put the wadas in cold water for soaking
  • Once the wadas are puffed. Squeeze the water from wadas and place them in serving bowl.
  • In a large bowl, add curd with some sugar and salt and whisk the curd till curd becomes smooth.
  • Add this whisked curd in plate for serving over wada, along with chutney and some farsan.
