Wash and finely chop the spinach leaves
In a pan take 1 tbsp oil and saute the spinach for 4-5 mins.
In the same pan take 1 tbsp oil and add asafetida, jeera,grated ginger and finely chopped onions and saute till slightly browned.
Add finely chopped tomatoes , haldi powder, jeera powder,, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, and salt and cook on low flame till tomatoes are soft.
Add malai and spinach and cook for 5-7 mins .It will start releasing oil.
Off the gas.
Serve hot with Roti or Paratha.
