Ingredients

Serves : 9
  • 1 kgs marinade: prawns (with tails)


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp paprika


  • 1 tbsp garlic paste


  • 1/2 nos lemon juice


  • 1 cups coating: all purpose flour


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 1/4 cups cornflour


  • 1 nos egg


  • 1/2 tsp blackpepper powder


  • 1 pinch salt to taste

Directions

  • Marinate the prawns and keep in fridge for three hours
  • Keep wok filled with oil on flame
  • In a bowl beat egg add the rest add little cold water at a time and mix till you get pouring consistency
  • Dip each prawn in the batter and put in hot oil, put at least six at a time
  • Deep fry till crispy golden color remove on strainer then lay on platter with kitchen towel on it
