Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1/2 cup tur daal


  • 1/2 cup masoor daal


  • 1 small tomato chopped


  • 1 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp jeera


  • 6 - 7 garlic cloves


  • 1 inch ginger


  • 2 green chillies


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 5-6 curry leaves

Directions

  • Pressure cook daals along with tomato, jeera and salt.
  • Pestle garlic cloves, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves.
  • In sauce pan, add 2 tsp of oil and add the pestle mixture along with hing
  • As garlic turns golden brown add the grated coconut
  • Once the mixture is cooked add boiled daal and let it cook for 2 mins
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
