Mash the boil potatoes and keep aside
Keep remaining ingredients ready.
In a kadai take 2 tbsp oil and add jeera,grated ginger and crushed garlic and saute for 2 mins.
Then add whole red chilies and sliced onions and saute till it turns pinkish in colour.
Add haldi powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder and mix well.
Add salt to mashed potatoes and add to the masalas.
Mix everything well and cook for 3-4 mins.
Off the gas and add lemon juice and mix well.
Serve with Roti.
