Ingredients

Serves 2

  • 2 cup rava

  • 1 cup curd

  • 1 tsp oil

  • 1 tsp eno

  • 1 tsp udad daal

  • 1 tsp mustard

  • 1 tsp broken peanuts

  • 2 tsp salt

Directions

    Dry roast rava on low heat for just 2 minutes.

    In a mixing bowl, mix curd to rava and mix well. Now add water to adjust the consistency. Makes idli like battter.

    Cover it and keep it aside for 15 minutes.

    In a tadka pan heat oil. Add mustard seeds, udad daal and let it crackle. Add this tadka to idli batter. Mix salt to taste. Add eno and whisk it for few minutes.

    Keep water in a steamer to boil. Grease the mould lightly with oil. Pour the idli moulds with batter.

    Steam it for 12-15 minutes.

    Let it cool down. Then demould the idlis.

  • 08

    Serve it with sambar.
