Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1 cup boiled chickpeas


  • 2cup rice


  • 3 tomatoes


  • 1 inch ginger


  • 4-5 green chilly


  • 1 tbsp biryani masala


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp jeera


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tbsp ghee


  • 4 cup water

Directions

  • Grind tomatoes, green chilly and ginger to a fine paste
  • Wash rice
  • Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed kadahi and add jeera as it turns brown add turmeric powder and tomato paste
  • Cook it nicely than add boiled chickpea and cook for a couple of minutes
  • Than add four cups of water (if you are making in pressure cooker than add three cups of water ) and mix it
  • As it starts boiling add rice,masala and salt and mix it
  • Cover it and let it cook
  • Check rice if it is cooked than switch off the flame and let it kept covered for 2 minutes
  • Now its ready to serve...You can serve it with curd or raita
