Ingredients

Serves 6

  • Fish steaks 10

  • Oil 1 tbsp

  • Salt 3 tsp

  • Curry leaves 100gm

  • Chilli 6

  • Diced onions 3

  • Diced tomatoes 4

  • Tamarinds juice 3 cups

  • Roasted cumin 3 tsp

  • Fenugreek 1 tsp

  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp

  • Red chilli powder 3 tsp

  • Coriander powder 1 tsp

  • Cilantro 100 gms

Directions

    Add fish steaks to a pan and rub salt on the steaks

  • 02

    Add oil, onion paste, diced tomatoes, green chillies, and curry leaves

  • 03

    Add turmeric, red chilli, coriander, cumin and Fenugreek powder

  • 04

    Add tamarind juice extract and salt

  • 05

    Add the fish n cook on medium heat for 5 min

  • 06

    Don't use the spoon to stir the pan rather just shake it

  • 07

    Add more tamarind extract and cook for 5 min

  • 08

    Add salt to taste, cumin and Fenugreek powder

  • 09

    Garnish with cilantro, curry leaves and simmer
