Ingredients

Serves 5

  • 1 kg beef diced.

  • 1 cup scallions (green onions) chopped into small pieces

  • 1.5 tsp Ginger paste

  • 1.5 tsp garlic paste

  • 6-8 inch lemongrass cut into big pieces

  • 3 tsp paprika

  • 1 cup olive oil

  • 10 to 15 Green chillies (or to taste)

  • 2 tsp oyster sauce

  • 3 tsp soya sauce

  • 2 tsp salt (or to taste)

Directions

    Heat the oil in a medium sized pan. Add the scallions, garlic, ginger and half of the green chillies. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

    Add the beef. Add lemongrass, paprika and salt. Fry until beef turns brown.

    Add 2-3 tablespoon water and cover the pan. Check every few minutes if the beef is cooked.

    Add the sauces and rest of the chillies. Stir for 2-3 mins.

    Serve hot with plain rice.
