Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead to form not so soft and not so hard medium dough
Let it rest for 20 mins
For the stuffing
Combine the grated coconut, powder sugar, dry nuts,roasted semolina and green cardamom in a bowl. Mix it properly and keep aside.
How to proceed
Again knead the dough well and make a small balls so as to make small poori.
Take a small ball and roll out thin poori
Take a Gujiya mould. Keep the poori in the mould.
Put a spoonful of stuffing in center of the mould. Press it gently. Take out the dough from the sides of the mould. I have shown in the image.
Repeat with other balls and stuffing.
Cover it with plate. So that the gujiya will not be dry.
Heat oil and ghee in kadai. Deep fry the gujiyas till it become light brown in colour both the sides.
Once it is done. Transfer to a serving plate
Ready to serve............ Hot... Gujiya to your guest.....................
