  • Coconut powder/ dessicated coconut 2 cups

  • condensed milk 1 cups

  • ghee 2 tbsp

  • green cardamom 4-5 nos

  • pistachios for garnishing 8-10 nos

  • Chandi ka varak (optional) 2-3 nos

    Heat ghee in a pan, add two cups of coconut powder and roast on low flame for 1-2 minutes.

    Once the coconut powder is slightly roasted add a cup of condensed milk to it and mix it well.

    After mixing well let the mixture cook for few minutes on low flame till its thickens.

    You will notice the mixture will start leaving the sides of the pan at this stage add cardamon powder mix well and then switch off the flame.

    Grease a square shape cake tin or a plate with some ghee and evenly spread the coconut burfi mixture with the help of a spatula. The top should be flat and smooth as it looks nice when you will cut the burfi in pieces.

    Let the burfi set for an hour.

    After an hour garnish the burfi with some chopped pistachios. You can also put silver varak Its completely optional.

    Cut the burfi in desired shape and the Coconut Burfi is ready to Serve.
