Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 4 carrots (peeled, cubed)


  • 1/2 teaspoon jeera


  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder


  • 1/4 teaspoon haldi powder


  • 1 teaspoon dhaniya powder


  • 1 cup peas , de shelled


  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala


  • 2 tablespoon coriander leaves chopped


  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste


  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mango powder


  • 1 teaspoon oil

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan and add jeera to it, cook for few seconds and then add carrots to it.
  • Add the peas, red chilli powder, haldi powder, dhaniya powder, salt and 2 teaspoons of water to it.
  • Cook for two minutes, slightly covered, to retain the green colour of peas, keep stirring and checking.
  • When done add dry mango powder and garam masala and mix well.
  • Garnish with coriander and Serve hot.
  • Tip- can add 2 pinches sugar , it helps in retaining green colour of peas.
