Ingredients

Serves 1

  • chicken thigh 100 gms

  • green onion or leek 20 gms

  • doubanjiang or sriracha 1/2 tsp

  • sesame oil 1 tsp

  • fish sauce 1/2 tsp

  • soysauce 1.5 tbsp

  • Salt and pepper 1 tsp

  • shredded cabbage 1 nos

  • mayo 1 nos

Directions

    Season the chicken with salt and pepper

  • 02

    Pan fry the chicken, skin side down, around 3 minutes on each side

  • 03

    Wrap the chicken in foil and let it rest for 5 minutes

    Get a clean pan and use the chicken oil to fry the doubanjiang

  • 05

    Add the chopped green onion and stir fry for a minute

  • 06

    Add soy sauce and fish sauce

  • 07

    Add sesame oil

  • 08

    To serve, put cabbage on rice, mayo, slice the chicken and put on top of the cabbage

    Drizzle the sauce over
