Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cups suji


  • 4 tbsp ghee


  • 1 pinch saffron


  • 1 cups sugar


  • 1 tbsp milk


  • 3 cups water


  • 1 tbsp chopped nuts

Directions

  • Dry roast suji and keep aside
  • In the kadhai add sugar and water
  • Warm the milk and add saffron strands in it and keep aside
  • Add 2 tbsp of ghee to sugar syrup.
  • When the solution starts boiling add suji in it
  • Keep stirring and see that no lumps are formed. Add the saffron milk and keep stirring
  • Add remaining ghee as well and keep stirring till water is evaporated and the halwa leaves the kadhai.
  • Serve topped with dry fruits..Enjoy
