Ingredients
Serves 10
Maida 120 gms
Butter 75 gms
powdered sugar 80 gms
Baking powder 1 tsp
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
Eggs 2 nos
Milk 50 ml
For topping : Dark chocolate 100 gms
Choco chips 25 gms
White choco chips 25 gms
Butter cream 1/2 cups
Sugar syrup 100 ml
Cherries 50 gms
Directions
1.Preheat oven at 180c for 15 mins
Sieve maida,baking powder,baking soda and salt
3.Beat eggs separately in a bowl
Whisk until you get a foamy texture .
Transfer butter and powdered sugar into a bowl
Beat it until you get a creamy texture .
Add vanilla essence
Mix it well.
Transfer the butter mixture into beaten eggs.
Mix it well.
Now add sieved flour.
Add little by little and mix it well without forming lumps.
Add milk and mix it well (if batter is thick).
Grease the baking tray with butter.
Place the butter paper.
Pour the cake batter.
Tap it gently to prevent air bubbles.
Bake at 180c for 25-30 mins
Our cake is ready allow it to cool down.
Let’s decorate the cake
First Melt chocolate by double boiling method .
Now melt white choco chips.
Now cut the cake into round shape with a cookie cutter or with rim of glass
Now place the piece of cake and add sugar syrup
Now spread the butter cream.
Spread it evenly.
Add choco chips.
Place another piece of cake and repeat the same.
Again pour sugar syrup and add choco chips
Finally place a piece of cake.
Now pour the melted chocolate over it.
Allow it to drip off.
Now set it for 15 mins in refrigerator.
Cake has set very well.
Now transfer the melted white chocolate into piping bag or cover and pipe desired design over the cake.
Finally decorate it with a cherries.
Delicious chocolate sandwich cake is ready.
