Serves 4

  • Urad dal 2.5 gms

  • sugar 3 cups

  • oil or ghee 3 cups

  • rice flour 2 cups

  • all purpose flour 1/4 cups

  • water 1 cups

  • nuts for garnishing 1/2 gms

  • Cloves 3-4 nos

  • cinnamon 3-4 nos

  • cardamom 3-4 nos

  • bay leaves 2-3 nos

  • salt 1/2 tsp

  • suger syrup. 1 cups

    Boil Urad deal till softens. Then blend the deal finely. After blending the daal put in bowl with very little wAter. Let boil. Once boring starts mix rice flour And very little all purpose flour. Stir and mix to make a dough. Then make roti from the dough and make shapes and design. Sugar syrup : 2 cups water with 2.5 cups of sugar. Put cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, and bay leaf and boil. Then drop the designed doughs into super syrup and let boil for very few minutes till the syrup absorbs. Take out from syrup carefully and garnish with chopped almonds, cashew and pistachio.
