Ingredients

  • 1 cup soaked chana dal


  • 1 cup sugar


  • 1/4 cup mava


  • 1/4 cup ghee


  • 20 cashew chopped


  • 20 almonds chopped


  • 1 tbsp pistachios chopped


  • 6-7 green cardamom powder

Directions

  • Pressure cook dal for one whistle
  • Drain water completely and let it cool down
  • Blend in mixer to fine paste
  • Heat ghee in a wok and add chana dal paste and cook it till it changes colour and nice aroma exist
  • Add mava and cook for few minutes
  • Than add sugar and cook till it becomes thick batter like consistency
  • Add cardamom powder and half chopped nuts and mix it
  • Grease the tray and transfer the chana dal batter in it and spread it smoothly
  • Spread chopped nuts and let it set
  • When set cut in pieces now it's ready
