  • 1 cups refined flour

  • 3 tbsp brown sugar chopped

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 2 tbsp walnuts chopped

  • 1/2 cups butter softened

  • 1 cups brown sugar

  • 3 drop vanilla essence

  • 3 nos eggs

  • 1 tsp lemon zest


  • Preheat the oven to 160° C. Grease a Wonderchef Pop Rectangle Cake Pan. Sieve the flour along with baking powder into a bowl. Add the walnuts and raisins and mix.
  • Cream the butter and brown sugar with the vanilla essence in another bowl. Add the eggs and lemon zest, mixing continuously. Fold in sieved flour and mix.
  • Pour the cake batter into the greased Wonderchef Pop Round Cake Pan and bake in the preheated oven for fifteen to twenty minutes. Remove from oven and turn onto a rack to cool.
  • Slice and serve.
