Ingredients

Serves : 8
  • 1 cup semolina


  • 1 cup sugar


  • 1 cup curd blended


  • 1/2 cup milk


  • 1/2 inch cinnamon piece


  • 1 tsp baking powder


  • 3/4 cup sugar


  • 3/4 cup melted butter


  • 1 cup sugar


  • 2-3 spoon almond chips


  • 4-5 drop rose essence


  • 4-5 drop vanilla essence

Directions

  • Firstly heat a kadhayi on medium flame for 15 minutes.
  • In a bowl add semolina, sugar, curd, baking powder, and vanilla essences. Mix well.
  • Now add melted butter and mix untill suger dissolved completely. Keep it aside for 5 minutes with cover lid.
  • Now grease the tin inside and add place a butter paper.
  • Place a stand in kadhayi .
  • Mix the batter again a d transfer in the tin and place it on stand.
  • Cover the lide and cook for 45 minutes. Turn off the gas.
  • In a pan add 3/4 cup sugar and 1 cup water and make sugar syrup. Cook for more 5 minutes and turn off the gas.
  • Add rose essence and mix well.
  • Now separate the cake from sides and flip in a plate.
  • Now spread the sugar syrup on cake.
  • In starting you will feel that sugar syrup is extra. But in one hour, cake will absorb all the syrup.
  • After 1 hour garnish with almond chips.
  • Cake is ready.
