  • 1/4 kgs ginger

  • 1/4 kgs sugar

  • 1/4 kgs jaggery

  • 2 nos butter paper pieces

  • 3 tbsp water


  • Take a Pan and add crushed jaggery,sugar,water
  • Heat on medium flame till sugar and jaggery melts
  • cut ginger make a paste in the blender
  • Sieve the sugar/jaggery into the ginger paste and mix well
  • Keep on high flame and mix well
  • The mixture will be dark brown in colour
  • Keep stirring for approximately half hour
  • The mixture will become reduced and sticky
  • add butter paper on top and roll with a chapathi roller
  • cut it into small pieces
  • and let it cool
