Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 2 cups powdered cashews


  • 1/2 cups water


  • 2 tsp ghee


  • 4 inch silver vark


  • 1 cups sugar


  • 2 tbsp milk

Directions

  • Grind the cashews in to a smooth powder
  • Put a pan over medium flame and heat water in it
  • Add sugar in it and stir continuously until it is fully dissolved
  • Bring syrup to a gentle boil until it reaches to one string consistency
  • When it's done, add the cashews powder and stir well
  • Stir this mixture for about 5-10 minutes or till it starts to thicken, and remove it from the burner
  • Then transfer this cashew paste to a large plate or bowl, and allow it to cool slightly
  • When it has cooled enough to handle, knead the mixture well
  • Flatten the dough
  • Grease a plate with ghee and transfer this cashew dough on it
  • Using a rolling pin, gently roll until the dough has evenly spread out on the plate
  • Spread the silver vark on top of it
  • Allow it to cool completely and cut the dough in small diamond shapes
  • Serve immediately
