Wash and soak the rice for half an hour.
Boil milk in a pan when it's boiled add soaked rice in it and cook on medium heat.
Stir well. When rice cooks well add sugar, saffron, cardamom powder and chopped nuts.
Mix well and another cook for 2 minutes than switch off the flame.
Kheer is ready to serve. Serve hot or cold as you wish.
