Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 litre full fat milk


  • 1/2 cups basmati rice


  • 3/4 cups sugar


  • 1 pinch saffron


  • 2 tsp chopped nuts


  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder

Directions

  • Wash and soak the rice for half an hour.
  • Boil milk in a pan when it's boiled add soaked rice in it and cook on medium heat.
  • Stir well. When rice cooks well add sugar, saffron, cardamom powder and chopped nuts.
  • Mix well and another cook for 2 minutes than switch off the flame.
  • Kheer is ready to serve. Serve hot or cold as you wish.
